Who we are

Apps with Rob is a product design service operated by Rob Cot, based in Hobart, Australia. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

What we collect

When you book a call or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and details about your app idea. We only collect what's necessary to have a conversation about your project.

How we use it

Your information is used solely to communicate with you about your project. We don't sell, share, or distribute your personal information to third parties. If we connect you with a developer or marketing partner, we'll ask your permission first.

Analytics

I use analytics on this site. As a UX designer, understanding how people move through a website is how I identify what's working and what needs fixing. It's a core part of how I improve the experience for you.

Both tools on this site run without cookies and without collecting personal information. There is no cookie banner because there are no tracking cookies to consent to.

PostHog runs on every visit with cookies disabled and memory-only persistence. It records aggregate things like which pages people visit, what they click on, and where they drop off. It does not identify you personally.

Google Analytics 4 runs in cookieless mode using Google's Consent Mode v2. Advertising storage, ad personalisation, and ad user data are all disabled by default. IP addresses are anonymised, Google Signals are off, and ad personalisation signals are not sent. GA shows me aggregate traffic patterns such as approximate region and traffic source — never your identity.

Only I see this data. It is not sold, shared, or used for advertising. I use it purely to understand how the site is working and improve it.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing make@appswithrob.com.au.
